Nothing Except Life

duty alone for the world

for nothing was ever ours

follows universal dhamma

give to world we wish to take

truth and non injury of ours

all knowledge and dreams

thus functions of environment

life is then to give to the world

that dream which was never ours

nothing could we claim as ours

for what we take when we die

life itself is enough to live

for the love of the world

all achievements

are mental fabrications

only pain moves the world

of what we try is to escape that

nothing else we've ever obtained

If these words touched your heart

Leave a Flower
